ClipPilot is a desktop application that helps users connect supported social media accounts, view account and video performance, manage content, and publish videos they choose to share.

2. Information ClipPilot may process

When a user connects a supported social media account, ClipPilot may process information made available through the permissions the user grants, such as basic profile information, account statistics, video information, and publishing-related data.

3. Authorization data

ClipPilot uses the platform's official authorization flow where available. Access tokens and refresh tokens may be stored locally on the user's device so the application can maintain the connection. Users should not provide their social-media password directly to ClipPilot.

4. Local content

Videos selected in ClipPilot may be read from the user's device when needed for content management or an upload requested by the user.

5. How information is used

Information is used only to provide ClipPilot features, including account connection, analytics display, content management, synchronization, and publishing functions requested by the user.

6. Sharing

ClipPilot does not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted to a connected platform when necessary to perform an action requested by the user, such as retrieving account information or uploading content.

7. Retention and deletion

Locally stored application data can be removed by disconnecting an account or deleting the application's local data. A user may also revoke ClipPilot's access from the connected platform's account settings where supported.

8. Security

ClipPilot is designed to store sensitive authorization data locally using available operating-system security mechanisms where implemented. No method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Third-party services

ClipPilot may connect to third-party platforms such as TikTok. Use of those platforms remains subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

10. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated as ClipPilot changes. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
